Kente Christmas Art

We made some beautiful decorations this year!
We were inspired by our African Christmas song this year and decided to create some art based on Kente patterns.
First we used painting and weaving to create a large paper art

work. Then we photocopied our designs onto small paper and stuck them onto cardboard circles. Finally we decorated our baubles with the greeting 'Krismasi Njema' which is Swahili for Merry Christmas!
