Last week we carried out the heats for our SciTech competition, thank you so much parents for all the hard work that went into these - they looked truly fantastic and Wonder class had the most entries out of any of the classes, what super stars!! 
 

This week we kicked off our science madness with a lesson all about life cycles of different animals, played a game where we transformed into those animals and then created drawings to show the cycles too! 
 

We have also been learning about famous inspirational scientists from history, had a visit from a hedgehog expert and learnt all about sewage from the wonderful education team at Severn Trent water! 
 

Finally we have ended the week with the SciTech competition final - and one of our Year 2 children even won for the whole of KS1, AND another Year 2 child won a prize for most beautiful design!

 

It really has been action packed, so I hope you all get some well earned rest this weekend!
