Y6 Residential information
Y6 residential information
Thank you to those of you who came to the residential meeting tonight. Please find below and attached information about Beaumanor Hall. If you were unable to make it, your child will be given an EV4 medical form on Wednesday - please ensure this is completed ASAP as we cannot take your child on the trip without it.
Please drop your child off at the car park at Beaumanor Hall at approx. 9am on the Monday. Collection time is from the car park at 2.30pm on the Wednesday.
Children will need to bring the following with them:
- sleeping bag
- pillow
- toiletries
- towel
- pyjamas
- underwear
- several changes of clothes (for all weathers! Please bring layers and waterproof clothing)
- indoor shoes e.g. slippers or sliders
- sun cream
- hat
- old trainers - more than one pair of shoes will be needed as shoes worn whilst canoeing will get very wet.
- wellies (optional - cannot be worn whilst canoeing).
- plastic bag(s) for wet/dirty clothing
- reading book
- teddy!
Children may bring a small amount of money (no more than £5 in an envelope with your child's name on) as we are able to visit the shop on the last day. They may also bring a small bag of sweets to share with everyone. Money, sweets and medication must be handed to staff upon arrival at Beaumanor Hall.
Under no circumstances are any electronic devices to be brought on the trip, including cameras.
Please ask if you have any questions.
Miss Hopwood
