This half-term we are so excited to be introducing the children to the animal kingdom  We are going to be exploring lots of different types of animals, including different animals we can have as pets and what we could find on a farm. We will also be introducing our special new class pet.

Over the half-term we will also be learning the story of 'quackling' and we will be inventing our own version of the story.

How to help at home.

• Look around at different types of animals. Could they name them?
• If you are lucky enough to have a pet, we would love to see some photos
• Looking at maps and identifying exciting things on them
• Visit a farm
• Share stories about pets and animals
