We're ALL joining the Library!

Our Y3 children visited the library recently.

From September, all our children from Nursery to Year 6 will be visiting Keyworth Library with their class regularly throughout the year. To make it special and so that the children can select books to borrow and bring back to school, they have suggested that each child has their own library card. This way, the children will be taught to access the library independently.

Every child will be coming home with a membership form this week. Becoming a member is absolutely FREE! Please complete this and send it back to school as soon as possible. The library will then set up all the children and issue them their own library cards (they will receive 2 cards, one for school and one for home). This means, as well as visiting with school, they can visit at anytime with their family too.

All books that are borrowed by children when they visit with school will be kept in a special box in their classroom for them all to enjoy. They will then be returned/ swapped during their next visit.

If they already have a library card, please still complete the form and they will provide an additional  card for school to use.

We are very excited to start this partnership with our local library!
