Year 1 have been learning about the parts of a vehicle which make it move (the wheels and axles!).

We had a go at constructing the wheels onto an axel and attaching them to a peg body. 

We found the axles were too thick for the wheels, so we had to narrow the ends so that the wheels could turn. We also found that the axles needed to be held in place with some blue tac to stop them from wobbling about when the car was moving.
