Partake visitor 2.10.24
On Wednesday 2nd October, Partake History will be visiting KPNS to teach Year 1 about toys from the past.
In this session, we will look at how toys have changed over time.
Starting with the earliest and simplest toys, we look at their evolution through Victorian times to the present day, exploring and handling the various materials used, their methods of manufacture and an understanding what distinguishes old from new.
With an opportunity to play, we will compare how different toys work and move before looking at some clockwork toys and hi-tech, battery-powered toys.
The cost of the session will be £8.35 per child and this should be paid via Arbor by Wednesday 25th September. If you have any difficulties making a payment through Arbor, please do let me or Mrs Buttery know.
I know the children are very excited about this experience!
Thank you,
Mrs Mulcahy
