We are thrilled to announce the election of our new School Council representatives for this academic year! After a democratic vote by their peers, these students showed tremendous courage and confidence in delivering speeches to explain why they should be chosen to represent their year group.

During our first session, we introduced the children to what it means to be a School Council member. We discussed the responsibilities they will carry, examples of how past councils have made a difference, and how they can contribute their own ideas to benefit the school community. They were also introduced to our School Council Suggestion Box, located in the main entrance by the lunch hall, where all students can submit their ideas.

In our second session, we opened the suggestion box to review the thoughtful ideas shared by fellow students. We talked about everything from PE bags to new school clubs and playground improvements, along with many other creative suggestions. The new council representatives impressed me with their excellent listening skills, thoughtful contributions, and genuine enthusiasm for being the voice of their peers.

I am truly excited to work alongside these young leaders in the coming year, and I look forward to seeing the positive impact they will make for our school community.
