Year 3 Educational Visit to Creswell Crags on 6.2.25

Dear Y3 parents and carers,
We are thrilled to announce an upcoming educational trip for our Year 3 students to Creswell Crags, a fascinating limestone gorge rich with history and natural beauty. This adventure promises to be an engaging and memorable experience for your child, blending learning with exploration in an outdoor setting.
Creswell Crags is renowned for its prehistoric caves and ancient artifacts. During our visit, the children will participate in exciting activities, including a guided tour of the caves and hands-on workshops on survival skills and a Stone Age safari. These activities are designed to enhance their understanding of the Stone Age, linking directly to our current curriculum topics.
Trip Details:
- Date: Thursday, 6th February 2025
- Time: Departing from school at 8:30 am and returning at approximately 3:30 pm
- Location: Creswell Crags, Nottinghamshire
- Cost: £20 per child (to cover transportation and guided activities)
What to Bring:
- Packed lunch and a water bottle- please let us know if you require a packed lunch from our kitchen in advance.
- Comfortable clothing (you don't mind getting dirty) and sturdy footwear
- A waterproof jacket (in case of rain)
- No gift shop money is required.
Permission and Payment:
Payment can be made via Arbour payment system.
Instalments of £5 over the upcoming weeks are also available if preferred.
