This afternoon, Year 3 had the incredible opportunity to meet the renowned poet and author, Joseph Coelho. It was an unforgettable experience that left us all inspired and eager to dive into the world of poetry.

During the session, Joseph shared stories about his upbringing, his inspirations, and what motivated him to start writing poetry. Hearing about his journey made us realise how personal experiences can spark creativity and become the foundation of beautiful storytelling.

We were also lucky enough to learn and recite some of Joseph's poems together. His vibrant and engaging style brought the words to life, and it was a joy to hear everyone participating with such enthusiasm.

At the end of the session, we had the chance to ask Joseph a few questions. His thoughtful answers provided even more insight into his creative process and offered valuable advice for budding poets among us.
