The start of our 'Magnificent mini-beasts' topic has been a hit with the children. We are finding out what different mini-beasts are called and talking about what they look like (colours, how many legs they have, if they have a shell to protect them etc). 

This week, the big idea question we are exploring is...

Can all mini beasts fly?

We will be sharing this wonderful non-fiction book which tells us about different creepy crawlies and how amazing they are!

• We will be celebrating 'World Book Day' on Thursday 6th March -children can come to school dressed as a book character. We will be doing lots of fun book-inspired activities across school.
