Children in Need 2024
It's that time of year again and we're heading to the panto! OH YES WE ARE!!!
This week is National Anti-Bullying Week.
This week your child will be learning all about Remembrance Day. During assembly, we will share the following slides and video with the children to help them understand why this is an important celebration in our country.
We also have a box of poppy-related items on sale in the school office and some of our older children will be around at the end of the day selling them from the bandstand. The recommended donations are between £1 for reflective poppies and wristbands and £2 for the slap bands and all money collected will go to the Poppy Appeal.
Flu vaccinations will take place in school on Tuesday 3rd December for all children from F2 up to Year 6.
Please follow the link below to complete the online consent form. No vaccines will be given without consent.
If you do not wish for your child to have the vaccine, please also follow the link to decline or complete the attached form amid return to the school office.
The Link will close on 21st November 2024, so please access it before this date.
Friday 4th of October- 9:10 am in the school hall.
Black History Month is a special time in October when we celebrate the achievements and contributions of Black people throughout history. It’s an opportunity to learn about important figures, events, and cultural heritage that have shaped our world. By exploring stories of resilience, creativity, and leadership, we can better understand and appreciate the rich diversity that makes our communities stronger. Let’s take this month to honour the past, celebrate the present, and inspire a brighter future for everyone.
The children heard about Black History Month in assembly (see below) and their teachers will be following up in class.
