Today is National Poetry Day and the whole school have been having fun with poetry. We introduced the theme for our poetry day in assembly with the lights off, a ferocious thunderstorm booming through the speakers and this image on the screen:  

All the children across school will be using this picture as inspiration for their own poetry. We will then be publishing their work for all to enjoy in the entrance hall over the next couple of weeks. 

What a lovely way to spend a Thursday!
