On Friday 9th February we held a fundraising day organised by the School Council to raise money for playtime equipment. The children and teachers arrived in their pyjamas and had great fun during the day. Bringing and buying cakes and the best fun of all was after lunch. The children all took part in a sponsored run,  still  dressed in pyjamas and ran with so much enthusiasm most ran more than the 10 laps we had suggested they could do.

Thank you to Mr Denty and the sports leaders set up the courses on the playground as the field was too wet.

The response from everyone has been amazing and I will reveal the amount raised so far in our School Council assembly on Thursday morning.

Well done to everyone who took part, all the cake donations and  for sponsoring the children.

Any remaining sponsor money can be brought into school as soon as possible.

Thank you for supporting the children in making this day a huge success.
