We are getting in the Christmas spirit in Andersen Class!
We are starting to get very festive in Andersen class!
Hi all,
December has appeared, and we started it with a bang! Oh yes we did! Year 4 and the rest of the school went to the pantomime to watch sleeping beauty at Loughborough Town Hall on Friday last week. The year 4's were a delight and had the best time singing, cheering, booing and giggling. It was a pleasure to see how much of an amazing time they all had. Take a look at some of our photos below;
We then got on the coach back to school where some of the children were so tired from all the excitement and had a little cat nap, whereas some other children were singing Christmas songs and sharing their favourite part of the pantomime. In the afternoon, we started making our Christmas tree decorations with year 3 which have now been put on our school Christmas tree. The children also made their head dresses for the Christmas show which we then finished off this week. Take a look at some of the photos below;
This week, the children have been practising their singing for the Christmas show which I have linked below if you would like to practice with them at home.
Reminders
- Andersen's class have recently had a very low percentage of children completing their doodles. It is an expectation that all children are in the green zone on all of their doodles each week, as this does support their learning. If you are having any problems feel free to catch me in the playground in the morning or after school.
- The children have till the end of term to complete their Bronze reading award. Well done to the children that have already completed it.
- Tomorrow will be the Christmas fair (Friday 9th December 2022) 3:30-5:00pm
