Last week in school, we celebrated British Science week. This year's theme  was all around connections and for young children it  was about their connections with science it's self.

We started the week in year 4 by an introduction to what the science week theme was this year and then brainstormed how different science aspects connect. We made a link to our current topic the digestive system by saying our body is all connected through our organs.

Later on, in the week we explored another connection related to our body and looked at our fingerprints and how they are different in someway, but we do have some similarities. We then spoke about how this connects us to our identity. At the end of the week we explored the connection related to plants and even planted our own plants that we will look after.
