It has been anti-bullying week this week and the theme this year is 'Choose Respect'.

The children had an assembly on Wednesday with Mrs King where they learnt what choosing respect means. We also talked about it in class and discussed some school-related scenarios (such as a new child joining the school, someone making a mistake when reading out loud). We talked about what would be a disrespectful thing to do in that situation and what a respectful thing to do would be.

The children have created a 'Choose Respect' pledge to show how they are going to continue to 'Choose Respect'. Have a look at some of our ideas below.
