As part of our Religious Education (RE) topic this term, we have been learning about Hinduism and its family celebrations. To deepen our understanding of these topics, we spent the afternoon creating our very own Diya lamps (see below for the photo). The children did an amazing job decorating their Diya lamps with Rangoli patterns, and they can't wait for them to be displayed in school.
