This morning we had a special visit from 'Divergent drama' as part of our Ancient Greek topic. We learnt about-Ancient Greek Gods and Goddesses and their special super-natural powers. As we were going to be taking part in drama-related activities, we took part in warm-up activities. We thought about voices, facial expressions, miming and action within our activities. We also considered what makes a good audience. 

To begin with, we acted out the characters of various Greek Gods and Goddesses e.g.- Hermes and Poseidon. We then took part in freeze frames and at the end of the session we created our own drama pieces and wore the costumes to get into character. The Y3's loved their morning and many demonstrated great courage to stand in front of others and perhaps do something outside their comfort zone.
