This week, Year 4 had an exciting visit from someone portraying a figure from Roman times, who taught us all about how the Romans lived and introduced us to some of the important figures we'd been studying in our history lessons. During the day, we explored Roman artifacts, tried on traditional Roman clothing, and even dressed up as Roman soldiers! We formed a legion and practised marching with shields, just like real Roman soldiers. In the afternoon, we had the chance to practice being gladiators with spears and nets, discovered Roman games, and enjoyed a captivating Roman story time. Here are the photos.
