This week we are exploring the big idea question's...

Where do vegetables come from?

What vegetables grow under the ground?

We will be talking about our favourite vegetables and salad and finding out that vegetables are grown all over the world! We will be continuing the conversation of what plants (vegetables) need to grow and making our own vegetable soup! Mmm, delicious!

Here are some ideas.... As always, share anything you get up to growing or vegetable related on tapestry! It's so lovely to see the children's confidence shine when they share their show and tell pictures.

Please could we ask for donations of empty yoghurt pots... In the next couple of weeks we will be using them to plant our sunflower seeds and begin our sunflower competition! More information to follow over the coming weeks. If you're feeling extra crafty - your child could paint/decorate their own yoghurt pot and bring to school for their sunflower seed.
If anyone has any donations of spare compost, plants, seeds or bamboo sticks to donate to use in our EYFS garden we would be very grateful.
