This week we are exploring the big idea question:

How do trees change? 

We will be talking about trees and looking at how they change throughout the year, comparing photographs from different seasons. We will also be collecting leaves and exploring the different colours and the different shapes. We will be learning that wood comes from trees and all the different things we might use wood for at school and in our homes.

• Please check Tapestry for our story café invitation for Tuesday 23rd  May - we look forward to seeing you there!
• Fruit reading logs hopefully have made their way home in book bags... Each time your child reads, or a story is shared with them sign their reading diary and get them to colour in a piece of fruit. If they can colour all fruits before Monday 12th June... They will get a prize!
• With the weather getting warmer, please could we ask that all children come to school with a named water bottle. 
• We currently have a little collection of cardigans and jumpers without names in - if you're missing any let us know. Please double check all cardigans/jumpers etc are labelled.
