Y1 and 2 have had a fantastic morning today visiting our local church for a "time-travelling" morning!
We have learnt all about the Easter story, created some lovely crafts and even taken part in a parade! We are so grateful to the churches of Keyworth for running such a fun-filled event.
The children of Year 2 created some artwork for the church this week which we took with us on our visit - this will be displayed over the Easter period if anyone would like to pay a visit to see their lovely work!
What a busy science filled week we have had in Y2!!
This term our class text will be Oliver Twist! We will be reading this in class with the children.
During the first week back, we will be completing some assessments with the children, these are nothing to worry about and are just a guide to help us find some of the areas of learning that may need revisiting from the year so far!
This half term in DT we have been learning all about coats of arms!
Over the past term we have learnt SO much about monarchs from the past!
This term we will be continuing to read 'The Owl Who was Afraid of the Dark.'

If you would like to go and have a look it is up on the display board in St Mary Magdalene's church throughout the festive period and you can pop along on Saturday when the church is open for the
'Keyworth Festivities Day' event on the Square. You are also all invited to the Crib Service on Christmas Eve at 2.30pm!
