Before half-term, the Year 3 students took on the challenge of designing a cool box to withstand extreme heat. We considered what would make a strong and effective design, focusing on choosing the best materials, how to store food and drinks properly, and ensuring the design was sturdy and practical. We explored 3D net designs as part of our planning and used these ideas to create our own models. Yesterday afternoon, we brought some of our cool box designs to life using recycled materials and then evaluated our projects to see how well they worked.
