SATs are taking place W/C 8th May (Tuesday - Friday due to the additional Bank Holiday on Monday 8th) and we will be doing lots of revision over the next three weeks.

There will be no weekly spelling test until after SATs, but it's still important to be using Doodle Spell as there will be extras put on there to cover some common spelling rules that may come up on the SATs paper. Extras will also be put on Doodle Maths which are specific to your child; it's really important that they are checking this regularly.

In school, we will be recapping some things that were taught earlier in the year or in previous year groups as well as practising test technique. Children will also be accessing Doodle English and Maths Shed for revision in school. There is no requirement for children to use these at home, although they are welcome to.

Our topic for this half term is The Amazon and although we will be starting it now, most of our topic work will be done after SATs week.

Please note, PE days are now Thursday and Friday and the children will be doing athletics and cricket.
