Sports Leadership will learn and demonstrate important life skills such as effective communication and organisation whilst learning to lead basic physical activities to younger people, their peers or within the community. Our sports leaders at KPNS will help with the delivery of physical activities during lunch times/break times. Another main key role will be keeping sports equipment stored and arranged in correct places, also meeting with Miss Robinson to arrange events and new ideas throughout school. Each child will receive a lovely sports leaders badge they can wear during school.
A big thank you to Trent bridge cricket club who came into school to deliver coaching to our children.
Years 2&3/4&5 learnt some cricket skills along with lots of different fielding and catching skills. The children can't wait to apply these skills to their cricket lessons in PE this term! Keep your eyes peeled for Trent cricket clubs the children could join!
This half-term KS2 will be focusing on cricket, this is a great opportunity to get lots of practice in before we take part in Keyworth cricket club's festival later on this summer.
